ACCESSIBILITY
Parking: A limited number of Easy Access Parking spaces are available on Lord Street as street parking. Parking for general tours can occur just off the drive in the lawn. Parking for special events takes place in Penn Plaza, across from the museum.
Mansion: Due to our historic nature, please note handicap accessibility is somewhat restricted to see the museum. The Basement level is accessible during summer months (in good weather), both via wheel chair and walking apparatus. The first and second floors can only be reached by stairs, although there are only four steps to reach the first floor. During special events, please note the traffic pattern of those visiting the museum may not be conducive for basement entrance. If desired, ask your guide for a book that contains pictures or to view a PowerPoint presentation of the other floors if you can reach them on foot.
Grounds: You may follow the drives around the property with a walking apparatus or wheelchair if desired to view the grounds. Note the museum is private property and not a public park, thus some paths and drives may not be open during winter months or during special events.
